Three Communities, One Corridor — Very Different Structures
Trilogy at Ocala Preserve, On Top of the World, and Del Webb Stone Creek are all within a few miles of each other on Ocala's SR-200 corridor. Buyers visiting one almost always tour the others. The communities look superficially similar on real estate listing sites — gated, 55+, amenitized, similar price ranges. The differences that matter are structural, not cosmetic.
On Top of the World is a 10,000+ home community that has been building since the 1960s — multiple sections with different ownership types, including leasehold on OTOW Central and fee simple on newer sections. Del Webb Stone Creek by Pulte is fee simple with a CDD bond. Trilogy is the simplest of the three: fee simple throughout, no CDD, one HOA. The right choice depends on whether golf inclusion, lower purchase price, or ownership simplicity matters most to you.
