What VeronaWalk Is
VeronaWalk is a 1,900+ home community in south Naples developed by DiVosta — the same builder who created Island Walk in north Naples. Both communities share DiVosta's defining features: poured-concrete construction, town center concept, extensive canal-and-bridge internal waterway network, and a resort amenity package without golf overhead. VeronaWalk is built on 1,500 acres along Collier Boulevard in south Naples, approximately 6 miles south of Lely Resort and 12 miles from downtown Naples.
VeronaWalk is age-targeted rather than strictly age-restricted, with a resident demographic solidly in the active adult range. It is one of DiVosta's most complete community concepts in Southwest Florida.
Island Walk (north Naples) and VeronaWalk (south Naples) are sister communities by the same builder with similar concepts. The meaningful differences: Island Walk is on Immokalee Road in north Naples, closer to the primary commercial corridor and beach access. VeronaWalk is on Collier Boulevard in south Naples, closer to Marco Island and the Marco Island/Collier Boulevard commercial strip. Island Walk's tennis program is more established with 12 Har-Tru courts. VeronaWalk's canal network is often considered more extensive aesthetically. Both are excellent communities — location preference is the primary differentiator for most buyers.
Town Center and Internal Waterways
VeronaWalk's town center provides services inside the gates — café, hair salon, post office, bank, gas — reducing daily errand burden during Naples season. The extensive canal system runs throughout the community with footbridges and walking paths along the banks, creating a distinctly Italian-village-inspired aesthetic that earned the community its name. Kayaking on the internal canals is a resident activity unique to DiVosta's canal-integrated communities.
Location: South Naples
VeronaWalk's Collier Boulevard location in south Naples puts it closer to Marco Island (20 minutes) than the north Naples communities. Downtown Naples is 20–25 minutes north. RSW airport is 30–35 minutes. The Collier Boulevard corridor has grown substantially in commercial services since VeronaWalk was built — residents now have strong access to groceries, dining, and medical care without the north Naples traffic.
HOA and True Monthly Cost
HOA fees run approximately $380–$520/month. On a $500,000 home with Collier County homestead (year 2+): HOA $380–$520, property taxes ~$275–$355, insurance (concrete construction, south Naples) ~$320–$600. True all-in: $975–$1,475/month. No CDD on most parcels — verify per address.
