Gulf Harbour Amenities:
Marina, Golf & Club Facilities
What the mandatory club membership actually covers — and what's included vs. charged extra. The marina, the golf course, dining, fitness, and social programming explained honestly.
The amenity package at Gulf Harbour is built around three pillars: the deep-water marina and boating infrastructure, the 18-hole championship golf course, and the club facilities (dining, fitness, social spaces). The mandatory club membership means all residents access this infrastructure regardless of whether they use it. Here's what you actually get.
Marina — The Defining Feature
186 deep-water slips on the Caloosahatchee River
Gulf Harbour's marina is the only full-service private marina attached to a 55+ community in Lee County. The Caloosahatchee River provides direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway, with Gulf of Mexico access via Pine Island Sound to the northwest. No bridges restrict passage for properly sized vessels.

Water Access — No Bridge Restrictions
Marina slips are leased separately — not included in club membership or HOA. Fuel dock, pump-out station, dry storage, and marine services available on-site. Slip availability varies; confirm before purchasing if a slip is essential.
Golf — 18 Holes, Championship Layout
The Gulf Harbour Golf Club plays 18 holes on a layout that wraps around the community's waterways. The course is regarded as one of the more challenging private courses in Fort Myers — not a recreational executive track but a genuine championship design. Included for full golf members; social/sports members can arrange guest access at an additional fee.

Amenities vs. Pelican Preserve: Gulf Harbour's marina has no equivalent in the Lee County 55+ market. Pelican Preserve has a dramatically larger amenity footprint on the non-boating side — 70,000 sq ft Town Center, private cinema, indoor pools, and a nature preserve. Gulf Harbour's social infrastructure revolves around the club dining room and golf. The right choice depends entirely on whether boating or marina access is a priority.
